In short

MFR Les 5 Chemins is a work-study training centre in Margencel, Haute-Savoie, belonging to the network of Maisons Familiales Rurales. Among its apprenticeship courses is a two-year bac pro Métiers du cuir with a leather goods option, which trains prototype makers for bags and belts: pattern templates in CAD, cutting, assembly and knowledge of materials from exotic leathers to synthetics, for workshops ranging from mid-range to luxury houses. The centre also trains for joinery, carpentry, roofing, car maintenance and agriculture.
