Minnan Science and Technology University is a non-profit undergraduate university in Nan'an, in the Quanzhou area of Fujian Province, founded in 2001 by Fujian Normal University together with overseas Chinese from the Philippines and an independent university since 2018. Its School of Art and Design offers degrees in clothing and costume design and in product design, and runs a provincial experimental teaching centre for clothing design and innovation. The school states that it draws on the Quanzhou textile and clothing, building materials and home furnishing industries.
