In short
MIT Institute of Design, at 'Rajbaug' in Loni Kalbhor on the Pune–Solapur highway, has taught design since 2006; it was set up within the MAEER's group and is now a constituent of MIT Art, Design and Technology University, established by the Government of Maharashtra in 2015. Its undergraduate and master's programmes include Product Design, Furniture Design, Transportation Design and Fashion Design, alongside communication, animation, user experience, retail and exhibition design and design management courses. The institute describes its teaching in three domains: skill, knowledge and formation.
