In short

MODATEX is the vocational training centre for the textile, clothing, garment-making and wool industries in Portugal, with its head office and a training centre in Porto and further centres in Covilhã, Barcelos, Lisbon and Vila das Aves. The centre states that it has been training professionals for the sector since 2011. Its offer includes post-secondary technological specialisation courses (CET) in fashion design and textile design, apprenticeship courses in fashion design, and certified modular courses in pattern-making, sewing, tailoring, weaving and dyeing.
