In short

The Ceramic Craft major of Mokpo National University's School of Future Design Convergence is taught in Damyang. It combines traditional Korean pottery techniques with contemporary form and design, and the school states that more than 70 percent of classes are practical, with wheel throwing, glazing and modelling in small groups. The curriculum includes tea-ware forming, plaster mould making, hand painting on ceramics, traditional pottery forming, industrial ceramics and tableware.
