In short

The Industrial Design programme of the Muthesius Kunsthochschule in Kiel offers an eight-semester B.A. and a four-semester M.A. with the specialisations Medical Design and Interface Design. Teaching is project-based and practice-oriented, with access to the school's workshops and materials lab. The academy's history goes back to 1907, when it began as part of the Kiel Gewerbeschule; it was refounded as an art university in 2005.
