Myndlistaskólinn í Reykjavík is an accredited private school of art and design at Rauðarárstígur 10 in Reykjavík, run by artists and designers. Its day school offers an arts track to the matriculation exam, foundation years and two-year post-secondary programmes; the ceramics programme works with earthenware, plaster and porcelain, from hand-building and wheel throwing to production methods, and the textile programme covers screen printing, hand and machine knitting, weaving, spinning, plant dyeing, pattern making and embroidery.
