In short

Namdals folkehøgskole is a non-denominational folk high school in Grong, in the Namdalen valley; the school states that it was founded in 1884. Its one-year Slow Fashion line teaches knitting, crochet, sewing and garment design, from basic techniques to students' own design projects, together with repair, redesign, sashiko, boro, yarn and textile dyeing and felting. The line ends with presentations of the students' work and includes a study trip to Japan focused on textile crafts.
