Nanchang Institute of Science and Technology is a private full-time applied undergraduate university in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, mainly oriented to engineering; it grew out of the private Ganjiang University founded in 1988 and became an undergraduate institution in 2011. Its School of Art and Media Design has run programmes including fashion and accessory design, product design and arts and crafts design, and the university houses a museum of works by China's master craftsmen.
