In short
Nanchang Vocational University is a private vocational university in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, which grew out of a business college founded in 1993 and was approved by the Ministry of Education as an undergraduate-level vocational school in 2018. Its School of Art and Design offers a programme in ceramic design and craft, with courses in ceramic decoration and painting, ceramic sculpture, tableware design and making, forming techniques and mould making. It also offers fashion and accessory design, taught partly in an on-campus garment industry college run on production lines with a modern apprenticeship model.
