In short
Nanning Vocational and Technical University is a public undergraduate-level vocational university run by the Nanning city government in Guangxi; it grew out of Nanning Vocational University, created in 1984, and was established in its present form with Ministry of Education approval in 2024. Its School of Arts and Media offers programmes including furniture art design, furniture design and manufacturing, fashion and accessory design and garment engineering technology. Since 2021 the university has run a fashion (footwear and apparel) industry college with the sportswear company Li Ning, with courses in athletic shoe design and making.
