In short
The Department of Fashion Design and Management of National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, in the College of Management on the campus in Neipu, Pingtung County, trains professionals in fashion design and fashion management. It grew out of a home economics section of the former Pingtung agricultural college, became the Department of Apparel Science and Management with four-year students from 2001 and took its present name in 2009, admitting master's students from 2010. It offers bachelor's and master's programmes, a skills-oriented talent track, a 3D pattern-making workshop and internships with textile, clothing, beauty and fashion companies, and stages an annual graduation show.
