In short

The Department of Creative Product Design of National Taitung Junior College, in Taitung City, was set up in August 2010. It has two main strands, creative product design and craft practice and innovation, and students choose hands-on workshops in either a creative design or a craft innovation field. Its teachers include practitioners in product and commercial design, metalwork, ceramics, woodwork, leather carving, weaving and stone carving, and the department draws on the culture and craft materials of eastern Taiwan.
