NIFT Kannur is the Kerala campus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, established in 2008 according to the NIFT timeline and located at Dharmasala, Mangattuparamba. It offers Bachelor of Design programmes in fashion design, fashion communication, knitwear design and textile design, a Bachelor of Fashion Technology in apparel production, the Master of Design and the Master of Fashion Management. Its academic block has pattern-making and garment-construction labs, and a separate workshop block houses weaving, textile processing, printing and material laboratories.
