NIFT Kolkata, founded in 1995, is the campus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Salt Lake City, Kolkata, and describes itself as one of the five oldest NIFT campuses. It offers Bachelor of Design programmes in accessory design, fashion design, fashion communication, knitwear design, leather design and textile design, a Bachelor of Fashion Technology in apparel production and the Master of Fashion Management, as well as continuing education programmes. Its facilities include studios, laboratories, workshops, exhibition spaces and a library.
