The Faculty of Fine Arts of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University was established by government decree in 2016 and is located on the university's central campus in Niğde. Its Textile and Fashion Design department, with fashion design and textile design divisions, began undergraduate teaching in 2020; it holds graduation shows of garment designs and textile workshops such as batik and woodblock printing. The faculty also teaches painting and graphic arts, and lists departments of traditional Turkish arts (carpet and kilim, tiles, illumination) and industrial design.
