In short
NorthTec | Tai Tokerau Wānanga, the Northland institute of technology, offers Maunga Kura Toi, a three-year Bachelor of Māori Art taught in Whangārei. Students choose one discipline: Whakairo (carving), Rāranga (weaving) or Rauangi (visual arts), with tikanga and Māori knowledge as the foundation of the programme.
