In short
Northumbria School of Design is part of Northumbria University and covers industrial, fashion, communication and innovation design. Its undergraduate courses include BA (Hons) Fashion, a four-year course with placement taught at City Campus in Newcastle, with workshops for pattern cutting, sewing, print, knit and digital fashion, and BA (Hons) Furniture and Product Design, formerly 3D Design, based on studio and workshop making. Other courses include Fashion Design and Marketing, Interior Design and Product Design. Some design programmes are also delivered abroad through partnerships in Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
