The Department of Design of Notre Dame University–Louaize, part of the Ramez G. Chagoury Faculty of Architecture, Arts and Design, runs bachelor's programmes in interior design, graphic design and fashion design and a Master of Arts in design. The Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design (102 credits) trains students in fashion illustration, studio work and patternmaking, together with fashion history, trends and marketing, to produce designs and prototypes for haute couture or industrial production. Graduates can work as collection designers, textile and surface designers, patternmakers and in fashion communication and commerce.
