In short
The Department of Conservation and Restoration of NOVA University Lisbon's School of Science and Technology, on the Caparica campus, teaches and researches the conservation of cultural heritage. It offers a bachelor's and a master's in conservation-restoration, a doctorate in heritage conservation, a master's in industrial and scientific heritage and a master's in the art and science of glass and ceramics, which aims to train artists and designers in glass. The department works with the VICARTE research unit on glass and ceramics for the arts.
