In short
Nunavut Arctic College offers two programmes in its Arts area. The Jewelry and Metalwork diploma develops jewellery and metalwork production skills in a professional studio setting, with an emphasis on craftsmanship and a wide range of materials and techniques. The Fur Design and Production programme, delivered in modules, teaches traditional Inuit methods to prepare skins and to design and sew garments, together with commercial fur design and production for the sealskin garment industry and business courses, and ends with a collection presented in a fashion show. The college's Nunatta Campus is in Iqaluit.
