The Department of Industrial Design of OSTİM Technical University's Faculty of Architecture and Design in Ankara admitted its first students in the 2019-2020 academic year. Its four-year bachelor's programme, taught in Turkish, trains designers of products for mass production, taking into account function, ergonomics and cost, and planning production methods, in fields that the department says range from toys and jewellery to furniture, household appliances and vehicles.
