In short
The Faculty of Architecture and Design of Özyeğin University, on the Çekmeköy campus in Istanbul, was founded in April 2012 and has departments of Architecture, Industrial Design, and Communication and Design. The Industrial Design programme is built around interaction, with design research, service and user-centred design, and an emphasis on entrepreneurship taught with the Faculty of Business; students may concentrate in interaction, packaging, furniture, or fashion and accessory design. A design laboratory with prototyping equipment and a model-making workshop supports the studio work.
