The Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property of Pamukkale University belongs to the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences on the Kınıklı campus in Denizli, south-western Turkey. According to its history page it was founded in 2009, opened a master's programme in 2012 and admitted its first undergraduate students in 2019-2020, graduating the first in 2023; it joined its present faculty in 2022. The programme trains specialists to assess the deterioration of movable and immovable cultural property, analyse objects, define storage and conservation conditions, select and develop conservation and restoration materials suited to the original work, and prepare conservation projects.
