In short
The Faculty of Architecture and Design of Pamukkale University, in Denizli in south-western Turkey, was established in 2009 by a decision of the Council of Higher Education's executive board. Its Department of Textile and Fashion Design, created in 2022, offers a four-year bachelor's programme with fabric design, technology and production courses alongside art and design, aiming to train designers for the R&D and design departments of textile companies; the department says it is the only one of its kind within a faculty of architecture and design in the Aegean region. The Industrial Design department, founded in 2010, admitted its first bachelor's students in 2026-2027; the faculty also has architecture, interior architecture, landscape and planning departments.
