In short

Patek Philippe trains watchmakers for the servicing and restoration of its watches through a programme structured in levels of complexity, with courses held at its workshops in Geneva. Its regional Patek Philippe Institutes, the first opened in Shanghai in 2013 and followed by New York, Geneva and Singapore, offer a two-year, four-stage apprenticeship for candidates with no previous watchmaking experience. Since 2017 the Patek Philippe Polishing Institute in Geneva has trained after-sales polishers in a 15-month, five-stage programme.
