In short

Philadelphia Furniture Workshop is a woodworking and furniture-making school in the Germantown neighbourhood of Philadelphia, founded by Alan Turner in 2006 and a non-profit organisation since 2014. It offers small classes for all levels: beginner and basic-skills courses, a learning series, tool and technique classes, project courses such as chairs and tables, and advanced design-and-build courses for aspiring cabinetmakers and furniture makers. The workshop is housed in a 1920s factory building with twelve traditional joiner's benches and a full range of machines and hand tools.
