Poliarte is a design academy in Ancona that has been training designers since 1972. Its three-year courses lead to a first-level academic diploma equivalent to a bachelor's degree and include product design, fashion design and interior design, as well as graphic and web design, digital scenography and cinema. The product design course covers research, ergonomics, materials and project work with partner companies, for fields ranging from fine craftsmanship to industry; the fashion design course takes students from the idea of a collection to its realisation, with career paths that include apparel, shoes and accessories and pattern making.
