Polimoda is a fashion school in Florence, established in 1986 as the Politecnico Internazionale della Moda on the initiative of the municipalities of Florence and Prato, the Province of Florence and local institutions and business associations, in collaboration with the Fashion Institute of Technology of New York. It has two campuses in Florence: Villa Favard, its headquarters since 2011, and the Manifattura Campus inside the former Manifattura Tabacchi. It offers undergraduate, master, short and online courses in fashion design and business, including fashion accessories design, bag design, eyewear design, knitwear design, costume design and a two-year jewellery design course covering CAD modelling, stone setting and metalworking.
