The Faculty of Textiles and Design of Lodz University of Technology trains specialists in textile technologies for clothing and fashion and for technical textiles; the faculty states that it has more than 75 years of textile tradition, and the university's first Faculty of Textiles began teaching in the 1947/1948 academic year.
