Pratt Institute is an art, design and architecture college founded in 1887 by Charles Pratt on its campus in Brooklyn, New York, with a second location in Manhattan. Its undergraduate programmes include a BFA in Fashion Design, with hands-on work in garment making, knitting and textile dyeing, and a Fine Arts BFA with an emphasis in Jewelry. The Industrial Design programme offers specialised studios in areas such as furniture and tabletop, alongside Interior Design and minors in textiles and ceramics.
