In short

Ringerike Folkehøgskole is a non-denominational folk high school in Hønefoss; the school traces its origins to 1876, when the first county school of Buskerud was opened, and has been at its present site since 1936. Its Design & Fashion line teaches the design process from idea and sketches to finished garments, with sewing, pattern construction, materials and redesign, and ends the year with a fashion show. The KRAFT line teaches traditional and modern food and drink crafts: butchery and cured meats, fish curing and smoking, baking and brewing.
