In short

Royal Delft, officially B.V. Delftsch Aardewerkfabriek "De Porceleyne Fles Anno 1653", has made hand-painted Delft Blue earthenware in Delft since 1653. In its Atelier on the Rotterdamseweg, painters, craftspeople and designers work every day: each hand-painted piece is made, glazed and fired there and receives the signature of Royal Delft and of its painter. The company states that the craft is passed on from generation to generation; the building also houses the Royal Delft Museum, which offers painting workshops for visitors.
