In short
The Saddlery Training Centre in Salisbury was opened in 2000 by Mark and Dawn Romain and trains saddlers, harness makers and apprentices. It runs four- and five-day courses, usually with no more than five candidates, in bridle, saddle, side saddle and harness making, including preparation for the City & Guilds Diploma in Saddlery at Levels 2 and 3. It also offers a New Entrants Training Scheme and off-the-job training for apprentices; its courses are not intended for beginners.
