In short

Salem Community College offers two glass-focused associate degree programmes at its Samuel and Jean Jones Glass Education Center in Carneys Point, New Jersey. The Associate in Fine Arts in Glass Art combines traditional hand skills in glassmaking techniques with art history, digital imaging and professional presentation, while the Associate in Applied Science in Scientific Glass Technology, which the college describes as the only one of its kind in the nation, teaches the construction of scientific glass apparatus. The centre also runs workshops and hosts the annual International Flameworking Conference.
