Sataedu is a vocational education provider in the Satakunta region with sites in Harjavalta, Huittinen, Kankaanpää, Kokemäki and Ulvila. In Kankaanpää it teaches the vocational qualification in textiles and fashion as shoemaker: students learn leather and footwear materials and shoe construction, choose between making and repairing footwear, and with experience design footwear and other leather goods. The training is taken through continuous admission, also as an apprenticeship, and the site states that it takes on average about a year and a half.
