In short
The Schule für Gestaltung Zürich (SfGZ), at Ausstellungsstrasse 104 in Zurich, is a vocational school of design that teaches the school-based part of apprenticeships in printing, photography, graphic design, interactive media design, signage, 3D polydesign and scenic painting, painting and lacquering, and jewellery. Its jewellery department teaches goldsmiths, silversmiths, engravers, watch and jewellery surface finishers and pewter casters. It also offers further education and higher vocational programmes; the SfGZ states that its higher diploma in product design will not start a new joint cohort from 2027, as the partnership under which it was offered is ending, and that the course remains available at the ibW Schule für Gestaltung Graubünden.
