The Fondazione Il Bisonte, at via di San Niccolò 24r in Florence, runs the Il Bisonte International School of Graphic Art in historic printmaking studios in via del Giardino Serristori. Its specialisation course in engraving and art printing covers traditional and experimental hand printing techniques, with workshops in woodcut, mezzotint, burin engraving, lithography and letterpress, and teaches how to run a printmaking studio independently. Il Bisonte, founded in 1959 as an art publisher, also offers summer schools and artist residencies in its print workshops.
