In short

Seljord Folkehøgskule is a non-denominational folk high school in Seljord, in Telemark; the school states that it grew out of Telemark Folkehøgskule, started by Viggo Ullmann in 1880, and has carried its present name since 1971. Its Creative Crafts and Travel line offers a lot of workshop time in clay, colour and print, with a smithy, ceramics workshop, drawing room, woodwork room and photo darkroom. The Viking line teaches historical crafts based on archaeological finds: smithing, woodwork, textiles, leather, bronze casting and glass beads, with tablet weaving and nålebinding.
