In short

SENAI CETIQT is the technology centre for the chemical and textile industry of SENAI, Brazil's National Industrial Apprenticeship Service, in Rio de Janeiro, with sites in Cidade Universitária and Barra da Tijuca. It trains professionals for the textile, clothing and chemical industries through undergraduate degrees, including Fashion Design, postgraduate programmes and short courses, and has laboratories and pilot garment-making plants. Alongside teaching, it offers technology consulting, accredited testing and research for these sectors, and states that it has more than 75 years of history.
