Shandong Light Industry Vocational College is a full-time public higher vocational college run by the Zibo municipal government. It was founded in 1960 as the Shandong Provincial Silk Industry School, became Shandong Silk and Textile Vocational College in 2006 and took its present name in 2014; it has campuses in Zhoucun and Wenchanghu. Its International Fashion School teaches textile design, digital dyeing and finishing, silk technology, textile inspection and trade, clothing and accessories design (offered since 1986), garment design and technology, and fashion performance.
