Shandong University of Art & Design, founded in 1973, is a public design university in Jinan with the Qianfoshan and Changqing campuses and an industry-education base in Qingdao. Its schools include fashion, industrial design and modern handicraft arts; the School of Modern Handicraft Arts teaches arts and crafts, public art and ceramic art design, with arts and crafts tracks in fibre and dyeing, glass, lacquer, metalwork and jewellery.
