Shangqiu University is a private undergraduate university in Shangqiu, Henan Province, with a second campus in Kaifeng; it was founded in 2002 by Henan Agricultural University and the Chunlai Education Group and became an independent private university in 2011. Its School of Art and Media offers undergraduate degrees in clothing and costume design and in product design, among others. The clothing programme covers fashion design, women's and men's garment construction and techniques, materials, draping, CAD and accessory design.
