In short

Shenkar – Engineering. Design. Art. was founded in 1970 as a college of fashion and textile technology, to train academic staff for Israeli industry. Today it has a faculty of engineering and a faculty of design, together with a school of multidisciplinary art. The Azrieli Faculty of Design offers bachelor's degrees in fashion design, textile design, jewellery design, industrial design, interior design and visual communication, plus master's programmes; the textile programme teaches knitting, weaving and printing alongside digital tools. The college is located on Anne Frank Street in Ramat Gan.
