Shunde Polytechnic University is a public full-time vocational university in Shunde, Foshan, established in 2025 on the basis of Shunde Polytechnic, founded in 1999. Its School of Design teaches furniture art design, furniture design and manufacturing, jewellery design and craft and, at bachelor level, product design; furniture courses cover solid-wood, panel and upholstered furniture making, and jewellery courses cover making techniques, JCAD and gem materials. The university also has a Culinary School (Shunde Chef College), set up in 2019, teaching culinary craft and nutrition.
