In short
The Faculty of Decorative Arts of Silpakorn University was founded in 1956 on the initiative of Professor Silpa Bhirasri and began by teaching a single programme in decorative arts. Today it offers bachelor's programmes in Interior Design, Visual Communication Design, Product Design, Applied Art Studies, Ceramic Art and Design, Jewelry Design and Fashion Design, together with master's and doctoral programmes, including a master's in Jewelry Design. The faculty is based at the Wang Tha Phra campus in central Bangkok and also has premises at the Sanam Chandra Palace campus in Nakhon Pathom.
