Sir J. J. School of Art, Architecture and Design, on Dr. D.N. Road in Fort, Mumbai, was founded in 1857 through the philanthropy of Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy and today brings together schools of art, architecture and design. Its School of Art offers four-year undergraduate courses in Drawing & Painting, Sculpture, Textile Design, Interior Design, Ceramic and Metal Work, as well as postgraduate programmes. The School of Design offers a Bachelor of Design and M.Des. programmes, and the institution also runs part-time certificate courses.
