In short
South China University of Technology is a national key university in Guangzhou, formally established in 1952. Its School of Design, set up in June 2010 and located on the University Town campus, has departments of industrial design, product design, environmental design and clothing and costume design, offering four bachelor's programmes in these fields together with master's studies in design. The school runs a joint industrial design programme with Chiba University in Japan.
