The Secondary School of Art and Design and Higher Vocational School in Brno, known locally as Šuřka, was founded in 1924 as a School of Arts and Crafts (Škola uměleckých řemesel). Its secondary school teaches, among other fields, fashion design, product design, interior design, painting, photography and graphic design. The higher vocational school offers furniture restoration, painting restoration and fashion and textile design. The school works in two buildings, on Husova and Francouzská streets.
