In short

Stavanger Urban Folkehøgskole (StUF) is a folk high school in the centre of Stavanger with a focus on the green transition and city life; it describes itself as Norway's first urban folk high school. Its Slow Fashion & Sewing line teaches students to design, sew, redesign and repair their own clothes, with knitting, embroidery, weaving, needle lace, screen printing and upcycling, and workshops on textile printing, zero waste and materials. Like all StUF lines, it travels by interrail through Europe to meet designers, workshops and textile producers.
